Elite Puppy Training
We may reserve one German Shepherd puppy per litter who shows exceptional intelligence and obedience, to complete an additional two months of training with us. These puppies receive hours of one-on-one training each day, setting them up for success with their new family. We immediately begin crate and potty training, leash training, and teaching our pups basic commands such as "sit, stay, come, and down".

💤 Sleep Through The Night
At 8-weeks-old, puppies need to be let out at least once in the night to go potty. They are also adapting to sleeping alone in their crate, away from their mother and littermates, which can be a very emotional time for them. This can interrupt sleep for many individuals who bring a new puppy home.
For our trained puppies, we start working on potty and crate-training right away, making the crate a safe, rewarding place to go for naps and for sleeping overnight. We help puppies love their crate.
💩 Potty Training Success
Our Pups in Training immediately learn to use a doggy door during the day, and sleep in a crate at night to help potty train them quickly. We begin to reduce the amount of time that the doggy door is unlocked so they must "ask" us to go potty outside by waiting by the door. We also slowly increase the amount of time they spend in their crate overnight, so that they are able to go a full uninterrupted 8+ hours without needing to be let out.
❤️ Critical Socialization Period
The most critical socialization period for a puppy is between 3-14 weeks of age. While we expose our German Shepherd Puppies to new people, our big dogs, cats, and going to see the vet before they're 8 weeks old, puppies can enter a fear stage (or fear period) between 8-11 weeks. During this time it's not uncommon for them to suddenly become afraid of things or people. We take great care to be patient and remain reassuring toward our pups during this time, while we continue to socialize them.
We also get our pups used to riding in a vehicle, and once fully vaccinated, they are able to go on "field trips" to safe places where they can interact with different people and animals. Their families will receive weekly video updates showing their progress. We also try our best to accommodate bi-weekly meetups where they can socialize and interact with their new family before going home with them.
🐾 Our Puppies Learn From Our Adult German Shepherds
We find that by limiting our puppy training program to just one pup at a time, they quickly integrate into our adult German Shepherd pack which helps them mature mentally, and drastically speeds up the training process.
🩺 Vet visits Completed
By the time they're ready to go to their new home, our trained German Shepherd Puppies will have completed 3-4 visits to our vet, and will have received all of their puppy vaccinations and boosters.
Fees For Trained German Shepherd Puppies
Our monthly fee for our training program which includes all of our training time, food, treats, toys, and vet visits, is $2500. We typically keep these pups for an additional two months after they're weaned, however we may be able to accommodate a shorter, one-month stay, which will still give these pups a great training base, and at which point, they should be sleeping through the night. With only a one month stay, they will not have received all their puppy boosters, and you will need to have these last vet visits completed with your vet, at your own expense.
